VerkTools Built for you

You’ve stopped seeing the bottleneck.
We put a dollar figure on it.

We’re a creative studio for AI-driven business tools. No catalog, no licenses, no adapting your business to someone else’s software. A paid diagnostic, a number you’ll recognize, and a product with your name on it.

How this works

How this works

From bottleneck to built.

1
The Brief

A paid working session where we walk one real job end to end — your data, your handoffs, the places it sits waiting — and calculate what that workflow costs you every year. You keep that analysis whether or not we go further.

2
The Studio

This part happens behind closed doors. The map and the number go in; a product comes out — scoped, designed, and named. Yes, named — and built around how your team actually works, down to the steps no off-the-shelf product would know you had.

3
The Reveal

You come in expecting a proposal. You get one — alongside something we’d rather show you than describe here, built around a job you’ll recognize, priced at a fraction of the number we worked out together.

4
The Build & Beyond

Prototype on your historical work. Pilot alongside your current process. Acceptance against criteria we agree in writing before a line of code exists. Then a monthly retainer keeps it maintained — and learning your team’s judgment.

Why not just…

You have four other options. Here’s the honest read.

Buy off-the-shelf

SaaS charges you twice: the license, and the quiet cost of bending your operation around features built for everyone. We call it the adaptation tax. You’re paying it right now.

Hire a dev shop

They bill hours against a spec you have to write. You don’t have a spec — you have a problem. The diagnostic is how a problem becomes a spec.

Build it internally

The right instinct and the wrong Tuesday. Your ops person with AI access proves the tool should exist; shipping it, maintaining it, and answering for it at 2 a.m. is a different job. That job is ours.

Do nothing

The most popular option and the most expensive. That’s not an argument, it’s arithmetic — and the diagnostic does the arithmetic.

Pricing

Priced against the problem, not the hours.

The diagnostic

$1,500–2,500

Credited in full if we build. A working session, an annual cost figure for the workflow we map, and a written assessment you keep either way.

Development

A fixed fee — a fraction of what the bottleneck costs you every year, worked out from the number we calculate together. Agreed before anything is built.

The retainer

Monthly. Maintenance, improvements, and a tool that keeps learning your team’s corrections. It’s better in month six than month one — shelf software can’t say that.

You’ll know every number before the first line of code exists.

No seats. No licenses. No surprises in year two.

Where your data goes

The boring promises that matter.

Your data never trains anyone’s models. Not ours, not our AI providers’, and never anything built for another client.

Every client lives in an isolated environment. No shared databases, no commingling — by architecture, not policy.

You own every output, forever. Exportable to normal formats on request, and your license to the tool survives even if we part ways.

Your people decide. Every tool we ship drafts, calculates, and flags. We build decision support, never decision replacement.

A note from the founder

Everyone is integrating AI. Which is why almost nothing has changed.

Every company I talk to is racing to integrate AI — bolting it onto processes designed long before it existed. Integration is a tax. You are paying to preserve a structure you built under old constraints.

The question worth asking runs the other way. Not which of your steps could be automated — which of them would never have existed if you were building this business today.

Software worked the old way for a reason. Building it was expensive, so it had to be sold to thousands of companies to be worth making. That meant designing for the average of them, and letting everyone else bend to fit. It was never a limit on what software could do. It was a limit on what it cost to make — and that limit is gone.

So we start there. One company, one tool, built as though the old constraint never existed.

Before you book

The things people ask last.

Why is the diagnostic paid?

Because it’s real work with a real deliverable you keep, and because we never design on spec. It’s also credited into the build.

What if we’re too small?

If a $30-a-month app genuinely solves it, we’ll say so in the assessment and point you there. The diagnostic is honest or it’s worthless.

Will this replace anyone’s job?

It replaces re-keying, version-chasing, and rework. Judgment, approval, and relationships stay with your people — contractually, not just philosophically.

Who owns the tool?

You get a perpetual, royalty-free license that survives everything, plus total ownership of your data and outputs. If you want outright ownership of the build itself, we’ll quote it.

How fast?

Typically about ten weeks from signature to an accepted, working tool — proven on your real historical work before it ever touches a live decision.

The most profitable meeting you’ll book this year might tell you not to hire us.

Start with thirty minutes. No deck, no demo — we’ll ask what hurts, and tell you honestly whether there’s a number worth finding. If there is, the paid diagnostic comes next.

Free, and you’ll know by the end of it whether there’s a number worth finding.
